I think that receipt surveys suck. You know, those little surveys on your receipt from Taco Bell that says “You could win $1000 dollars! Call Now!”

Reasons why they suck:

  1. The chances of you winning anything are slim.
  2. You get crap tons of junk mail afterward because you gave them your address.

So basically, do them if you like junk mail. I mean REALLY like junk mail.

I don’t like Facebook Applications. At best they are a waste of time. At worst they fool you into taking a survey which makes the creator money. They lure you in with promises of videos and fun, but in reality the videos they use are all recycled and old. They also spam your friends with messages that they are probably not interested in. Facebook applications are not fun, they are just another type of virus. I hate them all.

In short, just turn down any application invitations you get and you’ll live a much easier and spam free life.

To Block Facebook Application Spam From Friends

  1. Find a post made by the Application you are trying to block.
  2. Move your mouse over the post.
  3. To the right of the post an “X” should appear.
  4. Click on the “X” and select the second option “Block Posts by XXX” or something like that.
  5. Enjoy not getting any more posts from that App.

Let me tell you what to expect on Omegle…

  • 50% Penis
  • 35% Guys (<- Out of this 35% only a quarter are interested in talking to another guy.)
  • 10% Trolls
  • 5% Women(<- Out of this 5% only a quarter will bother staying past 5 seconds.)

I’ve spent several hours on Omegle both trolling and chatting, and I can safely say that it is only worth the time if you are very bored.

P.S. I recorded data for four hours to get these numbers. I saw about 600 people. Maybe I’ll take a bigger sample later.

Visitors from automatic traffic exchanges are bad for your website. Here is why:

  • The visitors are of VERY low quality.
  • The visitors will not return to your site.
  • The visitors will not recommend your site to others.
  • The visitors are not really interested in your content.
  • You place your computer at risk by surfing random sites.
  • Most advertisers will ban you if they detect auto-surf traffic.

Instead of depending on Autosurf traffic, try getting search engine traffic by…

  • Add more quality content to your site. (Stuff that people want to read about.)
  • Optimizing your site to target specific keyword phrases. (Use them a lot without being noticed.)
  • Submit your site to all major search engines. (Google, Yahoo, Bing!)
  • Update your site regularly so that people keep coming back for more. (Search engines will check your site more often too!)

Search engine traffic is good because…

  • Visitors searched for something related to your site.
  • Visitors will be interested in your content
  • Search engine traffic has a high conversion rate.
  • Search engine traffic leads to a steady stream of passive traffic.

I will never own a pool and here is why:

  • You have to clean them at LEAST once a week maybe more.
  • You have to balance several chemicals to keep the pool clean or it gets all nasty.
  • You will only use it once or twice a year but still have to clean it every week.
  • You have to handle chlorine which absolutely destroys any clothing it touches.
  • If you don’t want to deal with chlorine them you have to spend over $1000 on a salt water chlorinator.

I like Dead Frontier because

  • It is currently the webs ONLY 3D zombie MMORPG.
  • It is browser based. No waiting for the game to finish downloading.
  • It is easy to learn how to play.
  • It does a great job of providing that gritty post-apocalyptic feel zombie games need.
  • The admin is active and the game is quickly evolving into something beautiful.
  • It is completely free for as long as you want it to be.

Some things I don’t like about Dead Frontier are

  • The lack of any kind of storyline or quests.
  • The lack of enemies in the game currently.
  • The lack of a grouping function.
  • The isolated marketplaces in different outposts.

Play for FREE.

This little mouse is the bomb.

  1. It fits in my laptop case and has taken a few good hits.
  2. It has stood up to months of use without signs of wear.
  3. The nano receiver fits inside the mouse itself.
  4. The batteries have lasted over six months with daily use.

I give this mouse a 10/10 for being awesome.

So this week me and my father used the Borit Tool pictured below to drill underneath a 25 foot stretch of driveway. I wanted to write a review of the advantages and disadvantages of the Borit Tool as well as a few problems that we ran into.

Let me start off by saying that this review is based on me and my dad using a drill that was one amp short of the recommended 9 amps. Also, being that we live in Florida drilling is a tad bit harder because we have to drill through packed cinder blocks. Construction companies like to use cinder blocks to dredge swamplands in Florida.

So here is the breakdown.

  • It took us half an hour to dig the trench for the Borit.
  • It took us two hours to drill 25ft.
  • We wasted an two hours waiting for the water to drain out of the trench.

So in total it took us four and a half hours to tunnel through 25ft of rocks.

If you are going to use Borit here are somethings I can recommend from experience.

  • Use a 9amp drill or higher. Our drill tripped the breaker several times because it couldn’t handle the load.
  • Make sure your drill has a long enough handle so that you can hold it steady. The drill loves to  slam your hands against the side of the trench. We used a piece of PVC to give our drill a longer lever and by the end of the project the handle of the drill was about to fall apart.
  • Make sure that the drainage hole for your trench is really deep. Ours was about three ft deep and we had to wait for the water levels to drop several times during our project.

Overall Borit did what it promised to do . It drilled through 25ft of very rocky soil and saved us hundreds of dollars in rental fees or professional help.  If I had to drill under another driveway I would use the Borit.

I’ve played World of Warcraft before, and many things have improved over the years. Things like a built in quest helper and vendor values on items really help make the game feel a little more polished. However, the in game crafting system is incredibly boring and leveling a crafting skill to max level is simply a matter of spending gold to buy the materials. The in game interface still has a lot of room for improvement. I used a couple of addons just to fix up my UI. I’ve never reached the max level in WoW and that is one of the reasons I wanted to come back to it. Having leveled a warlock to 80 and raiding for a bit I can safely say that I experienced everything it had to offer. (I PvPed a bit as well, but no arena)

Anyways, let me keep this short and sweet. I give World of Warcraft an 8/10.

These are the things that I liked:

- Endgame raiding, which is very intense and satisfying…after a while it can turn into a gear grind.

-Dungeon Finder. Works perfectly, groups me with other quickly.

-Questing to 80. This is fun. I can probably only level one character to max before I get bored. Some people never get bored of questing, it depends on your tastes.

-Gearing up. I like that new levels of gear make my character noticeably stronger.

-Socializing and raiding with my guild.

-Calendar which tells you when a raid or world event is going to occur. Very useful.

These are the things that I did not like:

-Having to grind for a month in order for my gear to be raid worthy.

-Having to grind the same heroic dungeons for emblems, it gets old.

-Having to google where my next questing zone is located.

-Having to grind for gold in order to buy materials to  level my crafting.

-Finding out the tier ten vendor is INSIDE of a raid which makes him hard to access.

-Heroic dungeons feel way too easy unless you get a group of fresh level 80s.
